Safety, Consent and Reporting on Adult Friend Finder
Adult Friend Finder is restricted to adults, and the guidance below covers age confirmation, consent, blocking, reporting and safer first meetings.
Adults Only and Age Verification
Every new account confirms at registration that the person creating it is at least 18 years old. This confirmation is a required step in the sign-up process, and accounts found to misrepresent age are subject to removal.
Parents or guardians concerned about a minor accessing the platform should contact Support directly through the Help Centre so the matter can be reviewed.
Consent Applies Online and Offline
Consent is expected in every message, every Group discussion and every in-person meeting that starts from the platform. Agreeing to talk does not obligate anyone to continue a conversation, share more information or meet in person, and members are expected to accept a boundary the first time it is set, not the second or third.
If a conversation stops feeling comfortable, ending it, using Block, or filing a Report are all reasonable responses, and none of them require an explanation to the other member.
Before You Meet
Protecting Your Personal Information
A few habits reduce risk without limiting how you use the platform.
- Keep your password and any login code private; Support will never ask for either.
- Hold off on sharing your home address or workplace until you have built some trust.
- Treat a request to send money, gift cards or crypto off-platform as a warning sign, not a favour.
- Use Adult Friend Finder's Message Center before moving to another app, at least until you are comfortable.
- Screenshot concerning messages before you block someone, in case you want to report them.
Safer First Meetings
Choose a public place for a first meeting, arrange your own transportation, and let a friend know where you are going and roughly when you expect to be back. Video chatting through Instant Messenger before meeting in person is a reasonable way to confirm someone is who their Profile suggests.
None of this guarantees an outcome, but it puts you in a better position to leave if something feels wrong.
Block and Report
Reporting a Concern
Block and Report are both available directly from a Profile or an open conversation. Blocking prevents that member from viewing your Profile or contacting you again. Reporting sends the interaction to content moderation for review.
- Reports are reviewed by content moderation; response times are not fixed and vary by case.
- You can block a member without filing a report if you simply want the contact to stop.
- For anything that suggests immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
Reports that involve billing, account access or a technical issue instead of member conduct are better directed to Contact Support.

Respect stated boundaries
Stop contact when asked, without needing a second request.
No underage content
Any content or claim suggesting a person is under 18 is removed and reported.
No harassment
Repeated unwanted contact, threats or abusive language are not tolerated.
No impersonation
Profiles must represent the person actually using the account.
No off-platform solicitation for money
Requests for payment outside the platform are treated as a policy violation.
Accurate Profile photos
Photos and videos should reasonably represent the current member.
